I am actually midplan on having a CONSIDERABLE pasrt of my roster upgraded to G12 (not G11) as my next upgrade path. I do have the typical (Revan, DR) teams RELICED as this is key for seevral game modes.
IT will be fun from a collector perspective and will also allow me to get rewards from several events that REQUIRE specific teams...and also rewards from Galactic Conquest that we never know what will be next.
(My Imperial Troopers was and Droids were too low so i cannot get those rewards).
So it does MAKE SOME SENSE to have a reasonably EVEN lineup...BUT NOT ALL OF THEM (5 of each type is good enough for most purposes) and YOU NEED SOME RELICS for sure.
EDIT: Just started an event where i need scoundrels...and i have not the required team to get the maximum rewards...so would make SENSE to improve them...at least up to the level where rewards are maxed (G12 usually)
