Thanks Mariogsh! I got the win. My thinking was that without a GL he'd struggle against an omicron qui gonn jin team on top, and no way he'd get past JML on the bottom. It took a few tries but he did get past my qui gonn, but stalled out on JML.
To his credit, looking at some of his teams, and there mods, I was impressed. If he would just get past the reluctance to move forward I think he'd be quite formidable.
Yeah, he probably has great mods for g11 chars. But like someone said, he's not just missing out on GLs, he's locked himself out of journey characters that outright require relics or a minimum power level. Conquest is probably a struggle. With the new GAC, he doesn't have any hope of advancement. I don't even think he can simply rely on winning anymore, regardless of crystals, as you've demonstrated.
