Speed TM?

Hi all, just a quick one. I'm still pretty newish and I sense this is a question that could be answered easily and it's something I have overlooked; I just played a squad arena match against another CLS team with my CLS team. I checked to make sure my Han had better speed, and it did. However, the enemy Han had the first turn. Why? Thanks
