Since you have R2D2 already, I assume, that you are preparing to get Commander Luke Skywalker as well. Maybe you already have him? A team of Wedge, Biggs, CLS, R2D2 and Old Ben is far better. And it can be developed further when you unlock characters like Raid Han, Chewie, Thrawn etc.
Rogue One characters are required for some missions in TB. Chaze still have their uses in TW. Pao and Chirrut are used by many in sith raid phase 3. Cassian's U-wing is still a strong ship. I'd postpone farming R1 characters until you need them for this.
