I know exactly what will happen!!
We get the AT-ST driver and the Imperial Officer toons as playable characters! :hushed:
Okay, let's get serious.
- Thrawn may not be known by everybody here, but he does have a great fanbase. The Thrawn-trilogy is what saved the SW Universe from decay. Star Wars was getting forgotten when someone at Lucasfilm came up with the idea of a new book. Then they contacted a publisher, who contacted Timothy, the book became a hit and then a New York Bestseller, so did the other two books of the trilogy. Thus the Expanded Universe started, and the forthcoming events are history. I daresay that if not for this trilogy and Timothy's awesomeness, there wouldn't be an active fanbase and such a wonderful Universe right now - and maybe we wouldn't be discussing here.
- Those who say they only watched the movies shouldn't mourn here, as they know the Star Wars Universe is much more than that. I have my preferences as well, but I welcome any toon as long as it's Star Wars. Chill, we are part of the same fanbase. But what I'd really like to happen is Thrawn, Kallus and Moff Jerjerrod. (Those who say they love SW because of the movies must know him. Well, maybe not? Then go check RoTJ. And then the deleted scenes. This guy is one of the most human Imperial Officers. Alongside with Veers.)
- And as to Veers... remakes, please. Veers is such an underrated character. His leader is a silly version of Vader's. His special is a weak version of Boba's. But his basic hits hard. His speed up is awesome, also his offense gain. I love him because of the movies, and he is a core part of my Arena Team. His basic can critical hit from 12k to nearly 18k - that's oc when he has offense up. If the devs came up with a better special at least, he would be much better, that kind of fighter he deserves to be. And as I've seen, other ppl would like other remakes for some Empire toons, which I appreciate as well. Maybe one of us will have the pleasure of his wish coming true.
Until then again - chill! Do not hate on others for liking Rebels and characters you don't know because you haven't came across.
