I've been playing for a few weeks, and I try to read up as much as possible, and came across someone saying the galactic war enemies were based on your top 5 characters. So, I took it easy on powering them up in favor of making more squads at about the same power or a little lower. I finish the galactic war every time now. I run my primary team for the first battle to get their turn meters up, then run secondary until they can go no further. If they tap out I switch to primary, occasionally throw my meat shield team in front of them if some ridiculous team pops up. My question is, am I missing out by not powering my characters up as much as they could be while i form a few more teams?I have enough shards to have zeb at 7 stars, and could upgrade all my top characters equipment. I'm only level 58 though, so I'm not going to be a monster in the arena right now regardless. I stay at around 3500-4000.Currently I'm trying to make a fun team around gar saxon. I have vader, tarkin, royal guard and tie fighter pilot with him now. I was thinking something more like shore trooper, range trooper, and either snow or magma until I can get death trooper. The 5th for that team will be dooku, because I want to have fun watching all the counters. Any suggestions for a gar/counter team for fun are welcome. Im working on an ewok team, and slowly starting a clone/shaak ti team. I'll never have teams with the likes of commander luke Skywalker, revan, and so on btw. I don't really have the time to answer all of your questions, but forget the Gar Saxon idea. He LOOKS good and his kit seems very good, but in reality it isn't at all...Your question about powering up your teams is a good one though.In fact, I wouldn't spread myself too thin.It's better to gear and star up a few goods teams who lead to other characters (ex: Phoenix leads to Thrawn and Palp) than to make 10 mediocre teams.GW is a good place for income, but don't strive to get it too much, while you're missing out on other (more important) progress.You'll get there eventually...

Imperial troopers are fun to play and will help you in territory battles/wars. However, they work better under Veers lead and with Starck in the team.For your Vader team you should aim for using Emperor Palpatine instead of Saxon. Palpatine, Vader, RG, Tarkin and TFP work well together - better than with Saxon lead. Later you can add Thrawn as well to make your team even stronger. If you keep building your Phoenix team they will make you able to unlock both EP and Thrawn. Since you already began farming them my advice would be to continue until you have a full Phoenix team at 7*. To unlock a 7* Thrawn the team will need to be g8-g9ish.When you have your Phoenix and Empire team you have everything you need to complete Galactic War every day until you can sim it. Also, when continue from there you are actually not far from unlocking Commander Luke Skywalker (CLS). I noticed that you've farmed nightssisters a bit too.That's another fun team to play. However, they are not required to unlock any legendary characters, so only farm them if they are fun to play for you as well.

Thanks for the input fellas. Also, I've read how doing x thing puts you closer to y. How does Phoenix lead to Palpatine and thrawn, also leading up to commander luke Skywalker? I haven't seen the tie ins in game. With the nightsisters, I love using them. I feel like they are a troll team as I beat teams at 18k and 20k power in the arena with them (being a gnats ass under 15k.) I saved my crystals and saw an opportunity thanksgiving day to get and power up zombie and spirit with the bonuses. The teams i avoid with them are the ones with kylo since he seems to take no damage from plague. Otherwise, vader/dooku/ben/phoenix/etc. get loaded up with plague.With y'alls advice, I may just do a veers imperial trooper team, but will probably still keep gar saxon around for when I feel like watching an aggro team with him and the troopers. What should I put with veers and starck, range, shore and death? Death trooper will be a long ways off, until I get it, what would work?

My Guild leader ages ago was called Revanche Gilder! She had relic Nightsisters. Long time ago though.

Im at 19 of 50 on galactic war, so roughly another month to go. I appreciate all the advice and tips. I won't mention how I'm still in a starter guild... it moved me from tier 3 to tier 4 a few days ago. I haven't received a single guild token since it moved me. I was getting some every day in the tier 3 one.

I just picked up Biggs on a free draw, should I work on wedge to make a team around them, or am I trying to spread myself too thin? I've been fairly stingy with ability materials too, not just equipment. All of my characters show 3+

By the way, you cant Sim GW until you level 85, no matter how many times you beat it. Its been a while, but i think your probably 2 months from 85. Levels really slow down after 60. Unless you spend money for crystals.
