It would make a small different, but in no way would it be worth a zeta unless you're planning on using that zeta for Tarkin, not his ship. I omega'ed 5s' leader ability, and that bumped his ships speed by 1 and added a bit of health, protection, and damage. For 3 omegas, that was worth it since omegas are cheap.
