@Snake2 It's great to try something new/different... You should try using refreshes (well, one refresh: 50¢ for 5 new tries) if you think 3-4 wins (accounting for some losses as well) will move you to the next bracket.
Why Fives? Is there anything that synergises well between the 2? I looked around but couldn't find anyone that gained powers when he was stealth, or better, a Tank character that would NOT go stealth (and become effectively a taunt at some point -- I'd love that for Fives or FO Stormtrooper with their counters, or Old Ben of course).
