Ah, I misunderstood.
You’re still using a team that isn’t suited to counter the one your facing. “Statistically” is probably the least important thing in the game when it comes to squads. Synergy, composition, and abilities all come above that. Not to mention some squads are just hard counters to other squads. Example: a night sister team might be “statistically better” than an Imperial Troopers team, but the Troopers will destroy them because their kit is built in a way that does so.
