The Empire

Has anyone had good arena success with Imperials? If so, which toons were used? (I assume Vader and RG with either Tarkin or Veers, if not both)

    If there was an empire healer, or preferably an actual glass cannon (which veers simply doesn't hit hard enough to be considered) it could be a really legit team. They need to add heroes for it to be realistic though.


    I would love for them to add the emperor.

    But Tarkin hits pretty hard. His basic crits at over 8k for me with Vader lead and I have him at 6* and gear 8.

    I have found that adding 88 in adds a ton of damage and he feeds off of their debuffs and does even more damage.

    MT is terrible right now. He needs a massive potency buff to become viable in any game phase.
  • everyone complains of potency for Tarkin, Veers and Magma... look at the gains they get with gear X.... all I'm going to say is this will no longer be an issue and these guys are going to be much stronger... Side note unless they change it (you cant see it anymore) but Tarkin gets his potency up to 130% by gear 11 i believe was should be somewhere in the 90% range at gear X once the final spots are added that are currently not in game.
  • They need to add that Stormtrooper Commander with the Healing Ball as well as some other assorted Empire-characters.

    So they get an Empire-specific Healer as well.
  • @Gank_Killer before they made the changes so that you cant see things after level 80 his potency got up to 130% so I'm pretty sure that is still the case even though we cant see it.. and if I remember correctly he got up to the 90% range in gear X so once we can see his final couple gear X pieces we should see tarkin in the 90% potency range before he hits gear XI. As a side not I totally agree that Magma needs alot of purples to get to gear X.... I'm 50 cuffs away but ouch it hurts so I'm hoping the potency buff at gear X makes it worth the pain...
  • So does anyone actually have Magma at gear 10 right now, and if so, does his AOE TM debuff actually hit with 87% potency? I got him to 7 star before realizing how terrible he is, so I stopped gearing him up. I'd love it if he was actually useful at his top level.
  • I don't have him but he's really not good, he's counted by anyone having defence up and his wet sponge of an attack just bounces off them, if you want a good turn meter debuff use Old Ben, get so much more that way.

    I fought a maxed 7* empire team, they died to my undergeared random assortment of decent characters (this was around spot 70 in arena)
  • Its well established under geared empire isn't good. I'm looking for feedback of level 76+ geared 9/10 setup team... and pref. with snowtrooper. Nobody seems brave enough tho =p

    Droids + Jawa engineer and Rebel seems better atm, as far as all-or-nothing synergestic teams.

    I have a 7* tarkin I put on the self a long time ago and I didn't want to as I think tarkin has one of he best kits in game. I'm going to start working on his gear if that's the case

    He needs more damage on his special too. It does like 1000 damage on a critical hit...
