How did I get here?
20 feet in the air,
Levitating above the crowd below.
I wonder what they are thinking.
Can they sense my hesitation?
Fear that my blade will miss,
That I won't have the resolve to win this war.
Why aren't they moving?
They never move out of the way,
Those stoic pawns of the Empire.
That second guy in the red robe,
Can he see up my robe?
I don't think I wore my nice underwear today.
What if no ally comes to assist me?
If a tree falls in an empty forest, can anyone hear it?
Does the tree feel alone, like me?
