That's possible too, but not that new of an idea and not as effective. T3 brings far more to the table than IPD does. If I was going to replace someone with IPD in that comp, it would probably be L3-37 to attain maximum target lock synergy.
In reality though, I'd replace L3 with R2. My zetad L3 is only 3 stars but max skills and 1 piece from G12. So far I'm not impressed.
L3 works great on scoundrel team. I have not tried her with droids yet.
