He won't work in arena. If it was just the counter attacks R2 would be enough to hide/protect him. But GK spreading crit immunity kills off his usefulness.
You could try to run B2 with him to AoE dispel the enemy, and leave buff immunity behind, but it's not 100% effective. You'll get a few resists. Then CLS will self cleanse, Thrawn will cleanse himself, and an ally. GK or Rex will group cleanse. Barriss will passively cleanse. You really need to keep most of the enemies clear of crit immunity to get your two crits every time. Just having 2-3 is risky since you're more likely to get a dodge, or miss a crit, and then his AoE goes on cooldown. In the current meta there is just no way to keep crit immunity off of a whole team for a whole arena match. And without using his AoE every turn, and getting multiple crits every turn, Lando becomes a sub standard attacker with no other utility. And even if you could make it work on offense it will get destroyed on defense. AI will use his AoE even if the whole enemy team has crit immunity because AI is not very "I".
He was one of my favorite arena characters about a year ago, but power creep has left him behind pretty badly. He's still fantastic in Territory Battles under Wedge lead though.
