Speaking as a new(ish) player.
- Join a large guild right off the bat, too guild centric a game to not join a large one. I was lagging behind for a while being in a 10 man strong guild.
- Don't get too many side projects going, you may think it doesn't cost much to raise a character at low levels but once you get to 70+ it gets horrendously expensive. Kinda ties in to the first point as more raids = more moolah.
- Be very frugal with the rain of crystals early on in your GoH career unless you intend on spending, I was not very frugal. Crystal toon packs are not to be touched by anyone, even whales.
