Focus on a particular faction to start with and build a team for them! For aaaaaaaaaaaaaaages i went along with Barriss, Vader, Boba, Geonosian Soldier and IG-86 Sentinel Droid, which looking back is a terrible terrible team with absolutely no synergy what so ever.

I spent a lot of time and resources farming them up and looking back i feel i was brainwashed by a Jedi mind trick.
