Thinking outside of the box with squad formations

I tend to create squads that make a happy story in my head. I'm a nerd. Squads like Palpatine (L), Vader, Royal Guard, Stormtooper, TIE Fighter Pilot make me happy because they make sense. Squads like Commander Luke (L), Emperor Palpatine, Qui-Gon Jinn, Geonosian Soldier, Rex make my head hurt. There's no universe where those people would ever fight together! Some of them weren't even alive when the others were!

I know. I told you I'm a nerd.

But I started thinking: Rey, for example, is one of my hardest hitters. Is there a squad I could put together to get her the most hits possible, passively?

For example, Hera can not only command her to attack out of turn, but she can keep her alive with the Backup Plan special.
A Phasma lead might get her extra attacks.
Can't First Order Officer order people to attack out of turn, too?
And characters like Ezra Bridger, Aayla Secura, Qui-Gon, Fives, and Biggs Darklighter call assists, also!

What kind of weirdly strong team could I put together if my goal were to have all other characters exist solely to call on a strong character like Cmdr Luke or Rey or Kylo to attack over and over again? Think outside the box with me!

  • Sounds like you're talking about using basic attacks... Rey's basic is not really that neat, compared to other toon's basics: https://swgoh.gg/abilities/basic/
