I am in exactly the same spot than you with very similar speeds and everything. I usually beat legendary events with under-geared and under-leveled characters, but this event I just can't do it like that. I wish I had gone the chopper way.. now sitting at 45/85, so I am not going to make it this time. My only hope would be to gear them to g9 before the end of the event, but as of now I am defeated.
With the best RNG I ended up all 5 against him, but he Fractured Zeb and then killed him.. Everything went downhill from there.
