Well the time has come. US will be entering the challenge in 2+ hours. Many are on the edge thinking what it will take to unlock the legendary admiral at 5*, 6* or 7*. Let's share what it will take to get the job done. RNG will for sure take great part in it, so getting input as to what most favorable RNG might be will be priceless to many players out there.And remember, does not cost a dime to share. Good karma goes around and comes around...

Well looking back u might be right, time conversion issue lol. But nonetheless sharing will be very important if u want to do unlock efficiently. Europe and Asia will start in 8 hours or so, and hopefully get some input to you guys. Although sure some sill stay up until late in US as well. I am ready but wonder if 7* unlock will be coming up. All toons 7*, Ezra and Sabine 85 g11, Hera 79 g9, Kanan and Zeb 74 g8. Can do much better than that but want to actually find the point of lowest resistance, just for the heck of it and benefit of the others that might not have gear/credits ready. All toons for now are for now like +80 speed, most protection moded, Sabine double cd, ezra cd. Can up the mods as well, but probably will not unless it gets really ugly lol.

Everyone is in 8hours. It's a universal launch. I'll be staying up to complete it to 6* tonight and hopefully 7* by the event's end.

One of the reasons I started this thread is that my crystal ball is telling me it will not be enough. Past is past when we could unlock yoda and ep @70 and g8 lol. I expect this to be a much more demanding event, but hope I am wrong lol and this thread gets voted as most uselsess in history of the forum.

That was brutal. Since then, they have been easy in comparison.

Grand Admiral Thrawn at 5* with this setup:

Hera 5* L75 G7 all L4 abilities
Kanan 5* L70 G7 L4 abilities L5 unique
Ezra 5* L70 G8 L4 abilities L5 unique
Sabine 5* L70 G8 L4 abilities L5 unique
Zeb 5* L70 G7 L4 all abilities

No mods except a single mk5 L15 health mod with Potency primary on Sabine.

Unlocked at 5*.

All five of my PS were 5* except Sabine.

Hera: Level 80, gear 8, omega on leader ability.
The rest: Level 70, gear 7, no omegas, abilities in the 5-6 range.

No mods on any characters.

Ezra: level 65, gear VII, no omegas, 3 leftover mods
Zeb: level 65, gear VII, no omegas, 2 leftover mods
Kanan: level 65, gear VI, no omegas, 1 leftover mod
Chopper: level 65, gear VI, no omegas, 2 or 1 left over mods (can't remember)

I unlocked 5* Thrawn with the following...

Hera - Lvl 54, G6
Ezra - Lvl 55, G7
Zeb - Lvl 54, G7
Kanan - Lvl 52, G6
Chopper - Lvl50, G6

modest mid-level mods equipped
took about 4 tries to get the strategy on last tier right, and for some RNG to fall good for me

6*: Hera/Ezra/Chopper/Kanan/Zeb. All level 72, all g7, all abilities at level 7. Arena mods.

Keys: using backup plan on someone taunting in the last fight -- had a couple of times Kanan came back to life. I dispelled the stormtrooper's taunt, and then focused down the deathtroopers. Next I took out the stormtrooper. I then took out the commando EXCEPT that I used Zeb to keep Thrawn dazed and/or stunned. All assist attacks were used to call Zeb.

G9 Ezra and Sabine
G8 Kanan and Zeb
G7 Hera
ragtag mods
G9 on Ezra pushed me over the top
All lvl 85 with most omegas

unlocked 5* thrawn with:

- chopper not used

Was not easy. Thrawn killed 2 of my toons with his "fracture" onehit. but I was able to kill him at the end with 3 toons alive.
