No probably not. People around me are all g12 with 4-8 zetas per team. I have 2 zetas and until 2 weeks ago everyone was just g11. I win because of Speed frankly.
Somone told me this when I asked basically the same question you did. Every weekend spend ALL of your cantina energy on farming mods. They dont have to be speed mods but those help. But 5 dot mods and gear your people up with all the speed secondaries you can. My team is only 88k, but Thrawn is 257 speed and my Vader is 230+. Everyone else is over 220. That is why I win because lots of folks will field a full g12 100k team that has a 170 speed Vader or R2. To save credits you can only upgrade purple and gold mods with speed secondaries. I did blue mods too. Wasted a lot of credits but I have some pretty fast TW B teams that do very well as a result.
There are people above me that are even faster. I wont ever catch them probably. Also I think potency mods are overlooked on a few characters.
