What do you think about K2SO's viability?
Anyone plan on gearing him up and using him? He seems to be the rebels version of 5's. p.s. I understand it sucks that apple didn't get him, but please... no more.

Alright, so I've been gearing and levelling him for the Palp event. Mine is 5* G8 with all health mods (currently trying out different mods to see what's best). So far, I gotta say he's decent. Certainly not bad, not really that great either.
Pros:
- He gets pretty tanky once you get him a decent amount of gear.
- His taunt procs really often (100% with omega and he's buffed)
- His daze is really consistently useful (absolutely ruins Dooku's life)
- The offence down on his basic applies often enough that it feels like it's having a decent effect
- He's actually quite fast compared to the other droids (he even sometimes gets the first hit in fights, which can be huge)
- His counter unique is good without the Zeta, possibly incredible with. It's especially good for getting TM from HK lead.
- He's easy to gear (so far)
- The Cassian Andor synergy could be another great boost to his future power (even if it only effects rebel teams)
- His character model is nice
Cons:
- He doesn't do much damage at all. The best you can realistically hope for is a 10k crit on his special, but most of his attacks are gonna be doing 3-4k-ish on a good day.
- Under a HK lead, he can sometimes attack and gain taunt, then attack again before the enemy attack him and have his taunt drop off.
- His taunt drops when he gets hit. AOE teams almost completely nullify the usefulness of his taunt
- From what I can tell, he doesn't have much armour compared to other tanks. This may be nullified by the later gear that I don't have yet, so take this con with a grain of salt.
- He doesn't bring much to a droid team that they don't already have, and he doesn't have enough utility to fit into most droid teams. At the moment, he is a slightly less tanky version of my IG-100, but he has a taunt and daze instead of TM reduction and AOE.
- He might struggle to find a place in a Rebel team unless Cassian is good and present. Given the choice between K-2 and STHan, it's usually a better choice to go with STHan. Given the choice between K-2 and Baze, there's hardly any reason to choose K-2.
Basically, he's a decent tank who will only really have a place if Cassian is strong and you can get both of them on a team together. Or if you're playing against a team with Dooku. Then take K-2 every time because it's satisfying making that character trash.
