What is the best Palpatine lead team: Mix-match with non-synergy characters or full Empire-Sith team

My Palp (L) g9 + Vader (6* maxed) + RG + STHan + QGJ were slicing through teams...until I ran into a Old Ben lead team. Ben's ability block sticks just like it always has. It's a tough go when STHan can't taunt, Vader can't Crush, EP can't stun and QGJ + RG can just poke people. :/
