Where to place gear (a few scenarios, optimal G12 piece placement for now)?

https://swgoh.gg/p/413765196/characters/ - not updated today yet - notable change is G13 CLS (though mostly irrelevant to this post) I can nearly G12 Asajj, or use some of the same stuff to move 3P...

My thing is I always get every character and ship to 7*. I would get 3P0 to 7* and then move on to another project. You have CLS and Han at relic levels so I would get Chewie, C3P0 to relic levels and then go after Chewpio. Those 5 make for a nice team. After that you can focus on your Empire team. Then JKR and/or DR teams or Padme team.
