Who goes first in PvP, fastest unit or fastest team?

The fastest mod speed I've seen is 212 mod speed on Lord Vader.
The average mod speed is 207 in bracket's.
For arguments sake, let's say there are 2 geonosian teams.
Both are gear 13 with abilities max.
Both are equal on paper.
Soldier has the fastest base speed 174.
I put 5 god mods plus 32 arrow on soldier, on paper he is the fastest unit.
My opponent put 25 god mods plus 5x speed arrow on his team average 207 mod speed.
On paper he has the fastest team
Who goes first?
The fastest unit or fastest team?
I hope its fastest unit then I can just put speed mods on fastest unit and default mods on rest of team for example cc, CD, defence and offence.
Thanx for reading

But there are other factors in your example. Spy gains 35% tm when an ally inflicts a debuff. So if the soldier does his basic, he is guaranteed to inflict tenacity down, as that debuff can't be resisted (so long as they are not immune). Then spy gets 35% tm, so can jump ahead of other faster toons. But if you use soldier's special, that won't happen, unless the called toon or swarm attack inflicts a debuff.

Knowing the kits matters. Setting up team turn order matters.

To clarify, the number in brackets is a character's speed from mods, which has already been factored in to their speed outside the brackets. It has nothing to do with any sort of average.
  • The first unit to hit 100% turn meter goes first. If more than one unit has 100% turn meter or more there is a set of rules that determines which unit goes first. Speed determines how fast the unit gains turnmeter naturally but there are a lot of sources for bonus turnmeter or bonus turns in the game.

One point here - it has to ne a character inflicting a debuff during their turn.

Yup, you also need to check for TurnMeter gain and loss mechanics, not just speed.

TM gain/loss can turn a single fast toon into a full squad steamroll in some cases e.g. Geos / Imperial Troopers / Rebel Fighters under MoMo.
