Royal Guard would be a better choice than Veers IMO. RG's stun spam is really useful, and the enemy R2 is a very fast stun spammer himself so it's preferable to have him waste some of his turns stunning your tank instead of EP & Vader. If you allow R2 to run amok and keep stunning whomever he wants, it just makes the event... more random & difficult to say the least.
