Who to Zeta First?

I started a thread on zVader and then over the week that people were responding did research and am set on doing zMaul. The reason is zVader relies heavily on a very fast boba to get off the first ability block. If you don't have mods with good speed secondaries you're not going to have the same results as some of these other zVader arena teams. Also, despite my shard being pretty old there are still quite a number of rebel teams (slots 40-50 are still rebels and zMaul daze absolutely kills them. So with that said, I'm going zMaul because it will take my from the 100-200 range and should carry me to under under 50 rank.

Princess Zody makes sense when you consider it's two characters.

The moniker is just an annoying.

Go Zaul. I went for zader first and since the "fix" I stopped using him in arena and regretting the zeta spent.
Each shard is different but on mine zader is a "no".
It also depends if you want to solo rancor or not. If yes, then go zader.

Edit: Kylo also great to zeta. He fits on any team as his zeta isn't a lead ability.

I'd be cautious with zader tbh. Yes he can solo the pit raid......but it seems there are still bugs there that will be ironed out eventually and then you will feel short changed.

OP i really think it depends on what you like running in arena. Jedi, 1st order, resistance, empire and sith all have pretty good squads as a result of the zetas. Clones pwn the aat raid.

So pick your favourite Star Wars poison and go deep i say!

I run Jedi with zqgj zyoda & zarris, kenobi and anakin and after a few teething issues with the latest sith and earlier zader meta they are all beatable on offence. Zader had his biggest benefit, imo, because of 1st mover advantage only. New strategies were needed and tenacity up is kryptonite to sith and empire so that problem is solved.

Maul, palp, nihilis, Vader & Kylo/baze.

It is absolutely disgusting in arena. My full power zeta Finn resistance team doesn't get a turn.


On the other hand, zeta Finn resistance is unique and sometimes the RNG rolls your way and you can win literally any fight against any team, but it happens rarely.

Also, you will lose on defense... I've gone from top 10 to outside the top 100 overnight. The AI doesn't realise attacking the exposed enemies is a good idea.

My other zeta is on Kylo Ren. He can 1v5 chaze/wiggs teams (no exaggeration either....) And does some amazing clutch things at times.


Zeta Finn resistance is good for anywhere from 1million - 3/4 million P2 HAAT and as we know zeta kylo can solo P1 HAAT if you have the time.

I personally think that a Maul squad requires more speed spread out among the team than a Vader squad. Both are good leads depending on the characters and mods you have.
