Why doesn't Anakin have a ship?

Because it's a soft release. More will come.

Probably because he'd be OP with clone synergy. Most clones have ships. I'm guessing he'll get an event or chromium ship...

Agreed - Anakin was the best star pilot in the galaxy. Obi Wan has spoken - end of discussion on that.

I do wonder what ship they will give Anakin...his jedi star fighter? or perhaps his rust bucket ship from clone wars?

Yes, I guess you deserve credit... I think we all know that if you took the top 100 pilots he would have the best individual chance of winning but probably wouldn't win.

Obi-wan also said Vader killed Luke's father, so maybe he's again speaking truth "from a certain point of view."

Anakin IS the best pilot of the galaxy, only Luke reached his skills of flying a ship with the Force... But that was later, untill Luke arrived, Anakin was top 1 no doubt on that.
