Why is Rey so strong?

Because of unbalance. Shell be nerfed a soon as enough people get her

Usually folks go blah blah if a toon's either way better/OP or way too useless. She massacred you, so not useless. You have better options, so not OP. OP means it is over powered, so you obviously can't have multiple toons better than her.

Lol, I thought I had broken it down nice and simple. Here it goes, again... I did not imply anything about farming her. I did imply that you have better toons in your sights whom you were incidently farming. You also said she massacred you. So, she's not powerful enough for you and neither is she mediocre. Hence I was wondering why this thread sounding suspiciously like a she's OP thread!?

If they gave her super-evasion powers, or made her mostly immune to negative status or something, that would make more sense and be more inline with her character. But they made her an uber-strong attacker just for the sake of making her an uber-strong attacker. I could understand Jedi Rey being a really strong attacker of course.

Well the issue is she's quick, so it's not so easy as just "lol, just hit her first", although that is the proper strategy. At high levels she can attack before she is killed, which grants her the Foresight buff....and once she gets that she becomes much more difficult to kill, especially if she gets to hide behind someone like Poe.

I find that if I can take her out first round it's easy, but if she manages to survive odds are I will lose. You really need a high speed team to combat her, and not all of us have access to GS, Rey, Dooku, and QGJ simultaneously. Personally I have GS and QGJ and am working on Dooku now.

That's where I have a problem. She's not a Jedi yet, so she shouldn't be anywhere near any of the other Jedis. Luke was no match for Vader in ESB, so Rey having absolutely no Jedi training should put her at or below Tatooine/ANH Luke in this game.

If she had some special ability like chance-immunity to things like Old Ben's blocker or Sidious's heal blocker, that would make sense and be unique. But of all the powers to give her, making her a crazy-strong attacker is out of place. If she were a Jedi, Making Jedi Rey as strong as the rest of the strong Jedi would then make sense.

She's only OP if you let her run amok, like many other high-dps characters. If it's PvP Arena, and you don't have the toons to counter her, don't fight that team.

If she's in GW, you can re-jigger your lineup until a Dooku (or maybe even Daka -- need to check speed) stun lands on her to give you a buffer to take her out.

You just need to learn how to manage the threat she presents in the right context. Sure, she's powerful, but so are a lot of other characters once fully decked out and starred...
