The problem is that she was advertised as a high damage attacker. The problem isn't the characters themselves, but how CG promises them to us. Deception for the sake of benefit should not become a common practice.

The last tank released who does not taunt from any mechanics in their own kit was JTR, and that was 4 years ago.
The last Support released who remotely, if not completely, does an Attacker's job of dealing high damage was Bastila Shan Fallen, and that was just over 3 years ago.
Notice something? CG has been moving further and further away from the non-appropriate role assignments, so much so that if we ignore Mara, Talon and Omega, the last instance of one such case was over 3 years ago. And yes, you can make the argument that Galactic Legends also fit this criteria because of SEE, his ultimate transformation turns him into an attacker
AS WAS PROMISED, which means he stays true to everything CG said he would be.
Character's role tags not being appropriate to their functional role has only returned recently, and has only affected attackers so far. And this has been one of the only complaints I myself have voiced in a good while, as I am actively deterred from participating by people using fallacy arguments like your Ad Ignorantiam.
I repeat my earlier final words: Deception for the sake of benefit should not become a common practice. Selling characters as something they are not to get them hyped up and more people into spending is scummy.
