Yoda stealing hidden buffs?

I have lent a Yoda for light side mision 6-H. On 3rd wave i used masterstroke for AoE and while none enemy had buffs, my yoda stole 2! "Critical up + health up". I suspect this happened because Mob enforcer has extra health and Ig-86 has increased critical on his first ability? Were those supposed to be hidden buffs instead of being merged with the character?
Has anyone else stole some hidden buff with their yoda? Sadly i don't have him yet so i can't test him on more enemies.
