Eh, math is fun. And school is out after tomorrow. ;)
But now that I think about it, yeah, this is a moot point for new players reaching ships as level 60 (I'm counting myself here cause I was only level 64ish at ship launch), simply because zetas can't be applied until 80+ (not even entirely certain at what level they start showing up in fleet shipments). So it only makes sense to invest in ships since you can have the zeta challenge unlocked before they can be used and a zeta upgrade ready by or shortly after you're high enough level. So I suppose I won't be doing math, at least not unless I get really bored or good reasons to continue it come up. Sorry to disappoint.
