Zeta Problems

Hey guys, I’m having an issue that I wondered if you guys could enlighten me on. I face Sith Nightmare Teams with Sion. Sion has the ability to inflict the Pain Debuff on toons who attack him and he can inflict it when he attacks. I use A Jedi Training Rey team where Jedi Training Rey has all her Zeta’s and CLS with all Zetas except his leadership ability. CLS has a Zeta where when he doesn’t have Call To Action, he can not be debuffed. But against Sith Nightmare Teams CLS still gains Pain even though his Zeta says he has 100% Tenacity. He also gets Stunned by Palpatine as well Shocked. That should not happen when he doesn’t have Call to Action and that is the reason why I use him because he can’t be debuffed at the beginning of the battle. But he still gets debuffed. A similar thing happens with Jedi Training Rey. Jedi Training Rey has a Zeta where she has a 40% chance to dispel herself when she gains a debuff. Sometimes when she gains Pain from Sion and then she suffers other debuffs before her next turn. She dispels them but Sion still gains taunt when it becomes Rey’s turn and that shouldn’t happen. Is there something I’m missing or is there a problem with the Zetas on my characters or with Sion?

Not to mention Palpatine reduces your tenacity b35% and increases sith by 35% is a 70% swap.

palp reduces potency and evasion, not tenacity.

And only vs jedi and rebels...not reaistance.
  • You're likely facing characters with near 100% potency, which leaves you with the minimum 15% resist chance.

If you really want to resist stuff, the Tenacity-Up buff gives 100% resist chance - but it can still be removed.
  • Not to mention Palpatine reduces your tenacity b35% and increases sith by 35% is a 70% swap.
  • The JTR / Sion taunt thing is one of those weird situations where he's, by rule, taunting at the start of her turn and before she removes the debuffs. The sequence goes. It's her turn (she has debuffs), Sion taunts, she dispels debuffs. I.e., at the start of her turn she still has debuffs so he still taunts.

Same mechanic applies to Visas when facing sith. She's attacked, she counters, she gains debuff, she cleanses debuff.

It's just one of those weird order of operation things.
