Is the zVader strategy built around a fast TFP to get the first hit off and hopefully drain some TM from several of the opposing team members.. thereby giving the rest of your team a chance to go first?I'm only in the 100-200 bracket and there's still lots of rebel squads that I'm facing. Will a zVader go well against them (doesn't Biggs benefit from being attacked by empire?).

Yeah Zader works well with a very fast TFP to get the AOE off and hope you reduce TM. You need Shoretrooper cause he'll divert Wiggs. Fast TFP and fast Sidious with an EP does well. I use B2 cause he's amazing with his dispel

I'm still running ep because my Vader isn't zeta yet. How's current fast sidious without zeta? Worth it?

Sid is too squishy. His value for Zader comes in applying DoTs. In arena, there's usually not enough time to take advantage. There are better toons out there for a Zader team.

I ran both Sid and now Zid with Zader on my arena team. The full squad is:

Zader, TFP, Boba, Zid, Shore with the following order:

TFP, Zid, Boba, Vader

I had decent results with Sid, but now that I have Zid, he is often the last one standing at the end of battles. The 100% TM and the potency boost are also great, but the increased health makes him much more durable. I'm able to crack the top 10, but getting past 5 is a challenge. You can see mods, speed, power, etc. in my swgoh profile below.

@RyanRen Thanks for sharing that. Really does help me. I'm still SO torn between a zVader and zMaul. Obviously you chose the zVader. I'm curious how you fare against similarly geared and modded Maul squads. Do you regret your decision or have you been very happy with the results?

Before you had zSidious, did you experiment and have success or failures with any other lineups?

Seeing less and less of Zader lead on my shard.

I've dropped him from leading now that I have Zaul.

I've been running Zader in arena for the last week with some success. I've stayed top 20 and had top ten a couple of times and my arena shard is really tough (November 2015 shard). However, it is now filling up with Zaul teams and I have a feeling I'll be dropping really soon. I'm running him with Palpatine, Sidious (non zeta), a 231 speed TFP and Shoretrooper. Sidious is a bit squishy but as he's pretty fast I can usually get a few shots in with him before he's taken out. As there are a lot of B2s out there Shoretrooper is starting to lose his utility somewhat so I'm considering trying Dooku (non zeta) instead. If you have a decent Maul (mine is a long way off) I would definitely give it to him instead as the Zaul teams on my shard are impossible for me to beat. He is great fun to use though. I can generally get them through Galactic War with barely a dent in my protection and I solo'd the rancor raid last night. I'm working on Magma Trooper to see if he is any good but I'm currently stuck at a 100 stun cuffs wall.

TL;DR - if you want top 10 go Zaul, if you want fun in GW and rancor go Zader
