In short, no - not through the forums. You will need to contact our support team directly using the steps outlined here: How to contact support

The support team is needed as updating account information requires verifying you are the owner making that request which we can't do through any other channel. After that stage is passed, they'll then ask you for proof of age to ensure you're not a minor chancing their arm to get access to features currently not available to them (read for more on that). There'll be set criteria as to what's accepted to prove that but once it's been verified, they'll update the DOB for your account and you should be able to use the 'EA Connect' option from there.

  • @EA_Lanna I have already contacted the support team of EA and they told me to post my issue here because they weren't aware of it, and they couldn't find a solution. I will try and ask them again more specifically with that in mind (Changing my account from a child one to a teen one I guess,
    despite me being 21?). Also in case that doesn't work could you tell me or link me what are these criteria?

    Update: None of the employees who are at the tech support have access to that tool that lets you change the age that you have submitted, despite me showing them my DOB certificate, so if you know someone that has the tool to do it please notify me, Thanks for the support @EA_Lanna and I hope to hear from you again in the near future!

    Hi @wwvl4987v346 and @nervalfbbbb, I've merged your threads in with this existing one. 

    @wwvl4987v346 is your date of birth incorrect? Is it showing as under 18? You can see your EA account's DOB here.

    @nervalfbbbb I believe you're right. This error is usually related to underage accounts restrictions and the EA account just needs to be aged up. Tends to happen when the date of birth input states your a minor. Getting in touch with the support team and providing the details they need to go ahead with the update should do the trick. Before you reach out to the support team, please read over the posts in this thread and especially the pinned post under the first one.
