Re: GAC Banner count offset

Dear CG,

I just reproduced the issue one more time, and this time you should be able to track it. It happened in my current GAC Round against DarthNiner (ally code 151438478).

The banner calculation/sum was ok until the fleet battle. I cleared both front walls of my opponent with a total of 1,404 banners.

Then I battled his Home 1 fleet using my Malevolence and I beaten it scoring 65 banners (see snapshot below).

So, 1,404 + 153 (conquer the area) + 65 the new total should be 1,622, however the game score only 1,618 banners. From my POV either the Unused slots or the Full Protection Units banners (both scoring 4) were not added to my total.

Can you pls check it one more time?

    @wanderks I see your Malevolence is only 6 stars, so only had 3 reinforcement slots. Did you fill all three reinforcement spots, or only put two ships in?

    Hey,

    I set 3 reinforcements in my ship battle above, and I was discussing this point with my guild. I was under the impression that using a 6* ship would give me a bonus for unused slot, but I read somewhere in the forums that is not really the case.

    If that's really so, then the Unused Slot (4 banners) doesn't make sense in my battle summary. In any case, either the banner summary is incorrect or the game is not counting the banners correctly after the battle.

    On a personal note: I feel that by using a 6* capital ship, the player should be awarded a bonus by playing in a disadvantage, but if the GP tiebreaker is any indication, this might not be the case.

    @wanderks My guess at this point is the display is showing you 4 bonus points for an unused slot (the unavailable 4th reinforcement). However those points are not actually being added to the score.

    Hi (thanks for tagging me @GladOS-013) and thank you for the follow-up.

    What @GladOS-013 speculated is exactly what happened, according to our logs you were awarded 61 banners for the fleet battle, not 65 as your screenshot was showing. The mismatch is a result of the 6 star Capital Ship, showing you 4 banners for an unused slot, which was in fact, not available and therefore is not granting additional banners.

    We had flagged this in the past already and will do so again now. Sorry about the hassle.
