@gswift1313 Same exact thing here uninstalled cleared cache and app data now it only goes to checking for updates and crashes to home screen iPhone 11

Dont worry Im having the exact same problem as you guys as well. Also stuck in the checking for update screen. Supposedly CG is aware and we will get a fix before gac starts or else ima be extremely pissed off.

I am sorry to hear that all of you are encountering the same Issue.
There seems to be a problem with Apple‘s App Store. Right now EA is working together with Apple to find a way to solve this Issue.
Keep a watch on the official Forum as it will be updated as soon as there is new information available.
