Re: Hard node refresh costing more Crystals than advertised
I believe I have been having this issue also. It bit me a few times before I figured out what is going on.
It's subtle, but does seem to be a garden variety bug.
I have the same device as the Original Poster (Pixel 2).
Steps to reproduce:
1. Tap `SIM` to launch the `refresh the Attempts` modal dialog when no refreshes available on a hard [char or ship] node.
2. Tap PURACHASE [25 crystals]
3. INTERMITTENT: Dialog closes but the underlying view does not refresh.
-- At this point, the request HAS been processed server side.
4. Again tap `SIM` to re-launch the `refresh the Attempts` dialog. Because the view model is still out of date the dialog still says PURCHASE [25 crystals]
5. Tap PURCHASE [25 crystals]
-- Server processes the request, again and presumably updates refreshes (FROM 5 TO 5) but the cost deducted is actually 50 crystals.
6. Execute the 5 SIMS, and note that the next refresh costs 100 crystals where you would expect it to be 50.
Notes:
- After step 3, navigating away from the underlying page and back to it causes the refreshes to update correctly.
- I have experienced this mostly (or possibly exclusively?) in the mornings first thing - before I have been presented with the `Daily Login Reward` popup.
- Not sure how intermittent the issue actually is, but I've certainly noticed it at least 3 or 4 times this week. I could probably record a video if that would be helpful.
