Hi @lahking and yes, you are correct, the enemy ship must have 0% turn meter to be target locked.

    Lahking, note that the 0% turn meter requirement is *after* Umbaran Starfighter removes 25% turn meter from all opposing ships.

    So theoretically, each ship that had 25% turn meter or less before the reinforcement should end up with 0% turn meter and a target lock (unless they resist the tm reduction).

    I just had a situation where 2 of 3 ships, both of which had under 25% TM to begin with, did not end up target locked after Fives' reinforcement. 

    Not only that, in a totally separate battle Fives' rocket pods -- which I had been under the impression were guaranteed to inflict target lock -- did *NOT* inflict target lock.

    Skills can be resisted or evaded - which can results in no target lock.

    Was the opponent running a Chimaera lead? Each enemy that dies increases the Chimaera fleet's tenacity by 10% stacking for the rest of the battle, meaning a later Umbaran Starfighter is less likely to inflict Target Lock.
  • Noticed he's not landing it like he used too - I'd keep track and take screen shots - but it won't change anything, so until someones decides it's not right, we're just wasting kilobytes of text.

    I'll try to investigate after my fleet payout today. I rarely call Umbaran starfighter anymore, but the Missile Pods skill does say that the Target Lock can't be resisted.

    So unless the shot misses, is evaded, or the target is immune (Ghost), the Pods should always land target lock.

    I do NOT have the fully upgraded reinforcement skill, so I can't test it's functionality, but it does say it can't be resisted or evaded...so any ships that had less than 25% tm when it reinforces should end up with a target lock.
