yes, i'm on iOs. i see the issue over data and *some* wifi connections, but not the wifi at my home or work (thankfully).
If i see "checking for updates" when i load the app, it works fine. if i do, i know i'm in for a world of disappointment.

oops that should say if i *don't* see check for updates, not if i do see it.
if i don't see it, it goes to loading cantina and works perfectly.
if i do, it hangs, and says connection error and won't progress past check for updates.

- I am having the same issue, just started doing it today, I cannot get game to load period! Very frustrating. It says connection error but there are no problems with my cell service or wifi- edit I was able to resolve on my own
- I have included the screen shot attachment. This is still going for me EA. I am I-Phone user, everything else on my phone works fine. The is nothing wrong with my connection as all my other apps and items load and work fine. I am a paying customer on GOHSW level 78, playing since game launched and now this?? The game will not even open. edit-I was able to resolve this on my own.

I made up a random ally code because I can't login. @EA_Nils Is there going to be any reimbursement for the missed energy refreshes and time we weren't able to load the game from two nights ago AND in the middle of a TW? Can we expect anything from missing the refreshes and time now!?

To save you some grief, asking for or mentioning the "Reim..." violates the SWGOH TOS, and you can be banned for it. Just a heads up - ApprovedAnonymous8 years ago
Same issue. Will not connect via WiFi or Internet. I am in California. Last successful login was 2300 Hours 3/8/2018. We were winning TW, entire guild has been locked out, we are 50% US based the rest in EU. The EU team has been locked out for the last 10 hours.
Using iOS 6E updated to 11.2.6. Verizon is carrier. Other Phone is iOS7 updated 11.2.6 AT&T carrier. Neither platform is allowing access.
- ApprovedAnonymous8 years agoThe log in screen was too powerful in the Sith raid so they had to nerf the log in. If we pay $60 we can get back in probably.
iOS 10.3.2, most current app, US-based. Cannot get past loading screen with "Checking for Updates" caption. After a few minutes of this, throws up a connection error notice. Unlike last time, logging out of Game Center changes nothing.

It's missing content because their patch broke the game for hundreds if not thousands of people. You can open support tickets about it. Why would that be against TOS lol

I turned the WiFi off on my phone and was able to restart the app and connect via Verizon data service. I turned WiFi back on and it no longer worked.
Update: I can connect through my LTE mobile data. Still can't on WiFi.

Well that's me missed arena, about to miss fleet arena and there isn't much left of TW either, a raid soon too. Giving blanket crystals out isn't fair, those that got to compete get both those from arena and those because of the issue, it wont compensate us for lost gear etc either.
Same issue on both iPhone and iPad... missed my ship payout too...
