Re: Why Do Guild Raids Show Same Contribution Scores But Give Different Rewards?

Same scoring people get randomized and then tiers go by that random number.  Used to go by your player ID - which everyone hated.

Has far as why you don't get the same reward - that's one you can take up with the Devs.  Personally, I think it's so a team can't make a bunch of alt-accounts - put one vet player in it, solo the raid, and all the alts get 2nd place.  Or some such set up.

The only place you share the same place reward is in the guild dailies - which isn't that big a deal.

The scores for raids is randomized. It use to be based on your player id with numbers coming first and letter second. But as solos of the Rancor become more common it was changed to random. We would not want it to be all the same because that would mean people would actually get lower prizes. Simile solution do more than a zero or actually play the raid and don't just zero it.
