Used Bluestacks Emulator on PC to get back into the game through Google Play sign-in

That method did work for me, but in order for it to stick and stay, you will need to link your google play to an EA Account if you want to switch it back to mobile device.

I just went through my daily stuff and the new marquee event just to make sure my stuff was done if i ran into a hiccup again, but this time it stayed connected.

It may not connect through Google Play anymore, since I linked it to my EA account, but I managed to fix it for myself.

I feel this is either a massive communication issue with Google Play and EA servers for the game, or it's EA's horrid attempt to force people to make EA Accounts (for those searching for a solution while not signed into an account) and connect them to their Google Play account.

Either way it may be, This worked for me, despite it being just a massive pain in the butt to work around their lazy work to resolve a matter that started small, and has retained a continuous player base for a long long time.
