Hi Zorba thanks for the tips, what happened is I was looking for the other families mentioned in the game by other simmers like the Mashunga and Snapdragon families, I managed to find the Mashunga family in neighbourhood two so tried the others, but when I got to four it went into a loop of showing the unleashed and making magic info and would not stop. I had to force shut down and then reload and it kept doing it, so I went into userdata 4 and deleted it then the game gave an error when I loaded it, so I thought I would be clever and only uninstall making magic, forgetting that in sims 1 it deletes everything lol, but I won't make that mistake again. This time I ran all the neighbourhoods as I installed so now all 8 are working, and I don't see snapdragons anywhere mmmmm
