Yes! I got a GIANT tomato!!
Ripp harvested it and he and his brothers will go to the Garden Center tomorrow to sell it. Buck and Tank will have to take off work, because in a household, you can't take just one Sim to Old Town -- you have to take the whole family on the trolley. I also wish Sims could use the vegetables they grow to make meals, but all you can do is sell them, I think.

And I waited until 7:00 a.m. in the morning and snapped this pic just as the scarecrow came "alive" and did his little dance! :D

@mcrudd: Oh yes, I know about those wiley little bunny-gophers! (The game calls them gophers.) :P I discovered those critters come out at certain times every day and night: either at 1:00 a.m. and/or 7:00 a.m., OR...at 1:00 p.m. and/or 7:00 p.m.
Their appearance is random, but it is always at one of those times each day. I just stand by, watching the clock tick away at those hours....then I nab them with the hand tool and delete/sell them. Do you know they are worth $1?
@zorba: I'm so glad you like my Grunt family! :D I love those boys. They were my favorite family OF ALL TIME in the Sims series. Eventually, I will add a household of several ladies to the town, and hopefully the brothers can meet them and fall in love. ;)
Thank you for the compliment. My avatar's hair is an older Peggyzone style from several years ago. I don't even know if Peggy has it anymore, but it sure is a pretty style, I think. :)
