I got Sims 2 when it was free on Origin back in the day and I got The Sims and The Sims Stories series from a not-quite-legitimate source 👀 but I would actually love an updated version that runs on newer systems. If anything I just love the music from both of them, they make me so nostalgic 😂
You're lucky, I missed the boat for the Sims 2 on Origin. The fact that some people have it shows they could put it for sale if they wanted to, though. I remember having a Sims Stories game on my MacBook when I was a student, would love to play that again!
I agree, they definitely have the ability to do it and they'd make so much money I don't get why they don't 😂 if you're interested in an online solution I'd point you here
