Can I use the code from my CD copy of The Sims 1 to redeem the Legacy Edition?

Self-explanatory, I have a old CD copy of Sims 1 for the PC and I was wondering if I can use the code to redeem the Legacy Edition.   Pics attached are the front and inside.

D4nkyK4ng  No, this is a separate release, and the old version isn't available digitally either.
