Room Mood is lower than normal when outdoors

Also having this problem, it means my mood is never good enough to get promoted! 

This happened in the original game also. I think the unopened magic box is considered trash so will down the room score until you open that. Is it the same in Legacy if you open the box and dispose of it?

You need zero puddles, all plants need to be watered and not wilted/dead, no trash or dirty plates out, no old newspapers or magazines, the makin magic box items need to be opened to collect all items (spell book, wand charger, wand, magic coins, and ingredients) or alternatively you can delete everything for cash. Essentially the box needs to be gone. You can't have any exposed walls with no paint coverings.

Those are all penalties. You need to add plants and or outdoor decor outside in order to raise the room. You really don't need a lot, but you can buy a few items and check the score.
