Sims 1 & Sims 2 help
So I own the sims 1 complete collection and several of the sims 2 discs. All original purchases by me, redeemed codes when originally bought and played for years. I no longer own the type of computer...

According to this page the original releases of Sims 1 and 2 are unsupported and can be only played via their original discs.
