Sims 1 keeps crashing when I have a Burglar?

Hello, I wanted to report a bug crash where my game keeps crashing whenever a Burglar comes to my house.
The second instance of crashing I have is constantly in the vacation area when cooking Burgers for some reason when I have the speed set to 3?

The game seems to be crashing constantly whenever I use speed 3 in the vacation expansion pack . I had a few random crashes here and there but it seems very constant in the vacation part of the game.
I was wondering if there was some way to fix this or report it as a bug. 

PC Specs:
RTX 4090
Ryzen 9 5900x

32 GB of ram.
The game didn't give me an error code, what I've tried so far is disabling the Discord overlay, Steam Overlay, I tried changing the refresh rate on my monitor from 144 HZ to 120 HZ and still crash.
I went down to 60 HZ and I'm still having constant crashes.


I do have a video footage exactly when the game crashes using the Steam recording feature if this helps any.

    Yeah I'm not sure what the problem is but it's a shame. I really hope it can be fixed somehow.

    I've encountered the same issue, but instead of crashing, my game freezes and then displays a black screen while the background audio continues. I can still pause the game by pressing the 'P' key. To recover, I press CTRL+S to save and then ALT+F4 to attempt to exit—this ensures that the game is saved. If the game doesn't close, I use the Task Manager. When I restart the game, a black rectangle appears where the house in the neighborhood view should be; however, once I enter the lot, I see the burglar being arrested. This indicates that the issue seems to be triggered by the burglar stealing something.

    I have the same issue. This bug messed up my save file.

    Can confirm this has happens to me as well. I haven't had any big problems besides this.

    Burglars causes freezing and the game becomes frozen after the burglar steals an item, but the audio continues to play. The game becomes uncontrollable. This has happened multiple times.

    4/4 times this has happened. It occurs when the burglar is about to steal an object. In all cases, the lot had a burglar alarm.
