Sims 1 Legacy BUG - Gardener not showing up, plants dying

Same, this just started happening in my game.  Dead plants, no option to call the gardener who stoped showing up. 

Honestly, this used to happen to me in the original game I had on disk. I have no idea how I got around it, if I ever managed to. I hope you find a solution.

Yes! What is happening with the gardeners? My plants are wilting. I've noticed my gardeners check out for the day even with dying plants on the property, and this is a small lot. 

Happening to me too. It's as if he's programmed to just self-delete himself completely from the game, haven't seen him ever return in any capacity. This is both coupled with the fact that the burglar just goes 'nope' upon arrival, leaving the only event left just being the raccoon.

I'm having this same issue, it's happened more than once now and my gardener will not stop watering my garden! Even in spots where there is no plants... I'm scared to dismiss them because they never come back for me. When is EA ganna fix this one?

Are some of your plants dying then going invisible too?

In this 15 second video you will see Servo recovering the damage the gardener made when she didn’t wanna show up ever… some plants that died literally went invisible and servo can replant these invisible plants and they come back. You can’t replant them as it thinks nothing is there. You can’t even place anything on that tile cause the game knows there’s a plant there already so even if you wanted to delete the invisible plant you must get servo to replant it. Am I making any sense haha

It’s still happening on patch 5 cause I logged in here to check if anyone’s brought it up. Some of the plants die then go invisible and the only way for them to show up again is if you buy Servo and he auto waters your plants. I have to use servo to tend my garden cause the gardener you hire goes MIA.

Is this still happening for people with the latest patch?
