Sims 1 legacy stuck at vacation load
Hi there I've been trying to get my sims legacy to work.
I had problems from the get go. Had to update my microsoft visual drivers 64 and 86, uninstalled the old ones. I installed the game and reinstalled, I run it as admin. I usually have to cut to desktop exit the Sims and then open it again and it works. Well to a point.
I've loaded unleased, superstar and hot date and it lets me make a family and go to the other lots except for downtown . Anytime I open downtown or try to click any home lots it tried to download the vacation pack and it freezes. I've tried many times And it gets stuck there every time. Any ideas??
If anyone had this problem. I changed my resolution from 1280x820 to 800x600. Then I opened lot 2 and loaded all the expansions again. Instead of making a family I immediately clicked a lot and had vacation load. Now it works??
My lot 1 vacation still won't load but I can at least play on lot 2 now.
