Sims 1 Legacy won't load past pack loading screens

I can load into the game just fine; however, when I get a household to load. I click on a house, and the loading screen for Unleashed pops up but never loads. My game and graphics card are both up to...

theatregeek459  Try forcing the game to run on the Intel iGPU, and then the Nvidia GPU, just in case it's not selecting the latter like it should.  (As in, make sure you've tested both.)  Right-click the desktop, select the Nvidia Control Panel, then Manage 3D Settings > Program settings, and choose sims.exe.  You'll see an option near the top to run the game with high-performance Nvidia or integrated graphics.

Let me know what you find in each case.
